IBPS Exam: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection-Mumbai popularly
known as IBPS conducts Common Examination for initial short listing
of the candidates for selection of personnel in Clerical Cadre and
Entry Level Officer cadre and Specialist Officers in all the 19 Public
Sector Banks (Except SBI and its Associate Banks).
After the written test candidates have to wait for IBPS results, those
candidates who passed in the written test will be given a scorecard
(Like Common Admission Test (CAT) exam of Indian Institutes of
Management (IIM)) and may apply to any of the participating bank when
they come up with their job vacancy and then these successful candidates
have quote their personal details and their IBPS Common Written
Examination (CWE) scores.
Well the results of these exams on 3 different dates have been announced
at 3 pm on 29 Feb 2012. Around 40 lakh candidates have applied for this
job post.
The candidates those who have approached in the common written exam (CWE)
for bank clerical and are eager to know the result of IBPS CWE Clerk,
then they have to wait patiently for two more weeks. As anticipated, the
result is not announced on 6 Feb 2012. It looks as if IBPS needs some
more time in order to process the results for 40 lakh applicants.
