BSNL Launches 3 Android Tablets, Price Starting From Rs. 3250
Pan India 3G mobile service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today
announced the launch of 3 Android powered Tablets including two 7 inch
resistive screen based tabs (WiFi and 3G) and one 8 inch capacitive
touchscreen Tablets in association with Pantel Technologies.
Everyone wants to grab a pie of tablet market these days and looking at
how people wanted to buy Aakash tablet recently despite the fact that it
was crap, there is certainly a lot of buyers for cheap tablets. Keeping
the same in mind BSNL has announced three tablets and the cheapest one
will cost you only INR 3,250. Other two tablets have been priced at INR
10,999 and INR 13,500.
Penta TPAD IS701R is Priced at Rs. 3250/- having a 7 inch resistive Touch
screen of resolution 800x600 powered by 1 GHz processor with 256MB RAM
and a Built in memory of 2GB that can be expended to 32GB . It runs on
Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS .It is also offering a HDMI port for
establishing connection with T.V and facilitates vidoe calling having
a VGA front camera .
Penta TPAD WS704C: 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 7 inch capacitive display,
Android 2.3, Wi-Fi, integrated SIM card, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front
camera, Bluetooth, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card support, aGPS,
HDMI port and 1080p HD playback support. Price – INR 10,999
All the tablets are manufactured by Noida based company – Pantel. The
tablets comes bundled with three months of free 2G/GPRS data usage and
discounted 3G plans from BSNL.
