Actress Esha Deol is engaged

Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol is getting engaged today to her businessman boyfriend Bharat Takhtani. Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani’s engagement will be a low key affair joined by friends and family only.

Esha Deol made her debut in ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe’. Easha Deol has not achieved professional success like her mother Hema Malini or father Dharamendra but some of her successful films are ‘Dhoom’, ‘Dus’ and ‘No Entry’. She became a popular face in Tamil by doing Mani Rathnam’s ‘Aaytha Ezhuthu’ which was alsosimultaneously made in Hindi as ‘Yuva’.

Mother Hema Malini is beaming with joy, and says, “We are very happy that my daughter is getting engaged. He (Bharat) is a lovely boy and we all like him. It is a very happy moment not only for her (Esha) but for the entire family.”

at Hema’s bungalow in Juhu. The mahurat was from 10.30 am to 12 pm and the engagement took place
at 10.30 am.

The 'Dhoom' star was dressed in a pink sari with green

embellishments, teamed with minimalist jewellery. Her beau Takhtani donned a white shirt, white jacket and a pair of black trousers.

When asked about the marriage dates, Hema said, "It will happen soon and we will make an announcement.
