Screen Awards 2012 Colors Winner Nominations
The award season has started.It was The Dirty Picture all the way at the 18th Colors Screen
Awards 2012 – the super hit movie on Saturday won the best film award, while Milan Luthria
won the best director and Vidya Balan best actress trophy for her bold performance in the
picture about the rise and fall of a sex symbol.
Actress Vidya Balan bagged the best actress award for her sizzling performance in The Dirty
Picture, while the best playback singer female award was given to Shreya Ghoshal for her
foot tapping number 'Ohh La La'. Rajat Arora got the best dialogue award for The Dirty
Picture and designer Niharika Khan and Moin got the best costume award for dressing up
the voluptuous Vidya Balan.
Films The Dirty Picture, Shor – In the City andRagini MMS, all produced under Balaji
Telefilms have been nominated. While Vidya Balan starrer The Dirty Picture has picked
10 nominations Bodyguard is Firstly a ReMake. Remakes are not given nominations for
most categories like Best Film, Best Story, etc.
Other big winners were – Milan Luthria won the Best Director award, A R Rahman in
the Best Music category for Rockstar. Full list below
