For those of you heartthrob Justin Bieber fans, a rumor that started Saturday on Twitter
may be confusing you, but coming from Twitter this shouldn’t surprise you match. Several
sites, including Twitter and Facebook, started flooding social media websites that the
pop icon Justin Bieber had passed away. In fact, the rumors (which aren’t true) were so
rampant that terms like “RIP Justin Bieber” trended on many search engines and Twitter.
However, chances are the trend grew into “RIP Justin Bieber” when his more gullible fans
became a part of the mess and started questioning whether or not he had actually died.
But it looks like all you clever Biebs fans didn't fall for the hoax, with everyone
commenting things like "haha it's a joke" and "Death isn't something to joke about!"
YouTube is flooded with RIP Justin Bieber videos. Facebook groups that state bogus
information such as ”Justin Bieber has died following a gunshot wound sustained
during a late night altercation in west Manhattan” are being created.

rumor was prompted by some Justin Bieber Twitter groupies, forcing the hashtag
#beyoncegotdivorced to dominate the trends. The rumor began when Justin Bieber tweeted
to his massive amount of fans that he cut off his in-the-eyes hair for his new girlfriend.
Some of his fans, namely a popular Twitter account @BieberTeamNY (with over 57,000
followers) decided to prank back and suggest that Beyonce was leaving her marriage for
Bieber.
